How Does a CSA Share Work?

Community Supported Agriculture:

By becoming a Farm Share (CSA) subscriber, you will enjoy fresh, wholesome produce from Catamount Farm all summer long (June 15 through September 30th). Farm Share programs are based on collaborative, mutually beneficial relationships between growers and their local community. Community members support the grower by purchasing a CSA share before the start of the growing season enabling the farmer to purchase seeds and to focus on soil improvement and vegetable production.

Farmer Doug harvested some winter squash on a fine summer day.

CSA Market Share Options:

  • $500  Full Share
  • $300  Half / Single Share
  • $250  Half Season  (full share)

Subscribers can pickup their produce at the farm every Sunday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon or 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday.  A work share option is also possible.
